Star Trek wouldn't be Star Trek without the trio that started it all: Kirk, Spock and McCoy. This week, Mike and Barry get back to basics as they explore the "triumvirate" of TOS and discover just what made their relationship special. You may detect some bias, but we promise to explore how heart, brain and soul combine into one amazing package in Episode 37, "The Logic, the Emotion, and the Totally Awesome."
In the third in our ongoing series about featured alien species, this week Mike and Barry start a multi-episode arc on Deep Space 9 with everyone's favorite champions of law and order, the Cardassians. From Macet to Madred, from Dukat and Garak to Ziyal and Tain, the Cardassians added an intelligence, cunning and superiority not before seen in Star Trek. Details of their governmental, cultural and military life became a central part of Trek's (arguably) greatest series, and we're here to see what makes them tick. Join us for Episode 36, "L'etat, c'est Dukat."
There seems to have been a slight....problem with our episode this week, the first week of April. An errant transporter in an ion storm seems to have possibly switched our regular podcast with one from some kind of alternate... "mirror" universe - one ever so slightly different, and much more terrible than our own. With all the tomfoolery going on, we didn't have time to fix it, so we bring you Episode 35, "Mirror, Mirror, What the He--?".
